The central Asian institute created by Greg Mortonsion, educates Middle Eastern women and children that have never even thought about education before. In Afghanistan, women are treated as less then equals to the men, so school as you could imagine is put on the backburner. This schoolhouse provides women with hygiene tips, reading, writing, and the basic skills they need to help their families bring in income and stimulate their country’s economy.
I find amazing how Greg Mortenson could make this act of charity without any expectations of receiving something for it.
